dvn

Terms of use

Updated October 14, 2026

The service

dvn retrieves original skill instructions and supporting context from approved sources. Public use does not require an account. Private use requires GitHub sign-in and current access to the approved source repository.

Authorized use

Use dvn only for content you are authorized to access. Follow the policies of your host application and the rights and licenses attached to source content. A loaded instruction does not grant permission to disclose credentials, access private resources or perform external actions.

Source revisions

Follow-ups retain the selected source revision. An explicit new invocation or refresh checks pushed sources. A response labeled STALE is an eligible previously verified snapshot and is not a new source verification. Check provenance before relying on a workflow.

Host capabilities

Some workflows require tools, services or devices your current host cannot provide. Loading a packet proves that instructions were retrieved; it does not prove that the workflow ran, an app was installed or a physical device was tested. dvn does not offer payments, repository deletion or arbitrary remote execution.

Availability

Sources and host capabilities can become unavailable or change. dvn may reject unauthorized or invalid requests. Review the returned instructions and their provenance before acting, and stop a stage whose required context cannot be loaded.
